The Floating Catwalk
Architect Kristoffer Jensen from OSK Ship-Tech has designed the floating catwalk for AWOW and is in charge of production on water. Kristoffer has worked with design and building of ships for the last 20 years, first as a boat builder and later as an architect with special focus on interior – and doing his best to make it a good experience for the models to walk on water.
Scenography – Music – Narrative
Digital scenography will transform the city waterfront with lighting, music and moving images, as fashion and new technology walk on water on a 80 meter long catwalk stretching into the harbour basin.
AWOW is accompanied by Frontiers of the Metaverse – an electro-opera, where you meet The Captain, who just arrived from the future. The songs Impact, Discovery, Knowledge and Renaissance frame the fashion show and are a tribute to creativity and the visionary.
Music and lyrics by Ane Mai Pil, performed by mezzo soprano Hanna Leonora Hollesen. Narrative framing and staging by Signe Klejs in collaboration with Games and Visual Effects Research Lab at The University of Hertfordshire.
